This piece has been such a life saver in modernizing my SR3. Snaps right on like it was made by Arri. Have had no issues whatsoever with it. Even at high frame rates and running accessories off the P-Tap, I've had no issues with power thanks to this.

So far I'm still in the testing phase, but the SR3 v-mount battery plate transforms the camera. The battery lock is so much stronger than the old SR3 batteries, so no bricks falling off the back. I am using mini bebop 14.4 v-mount batteries, which are small and lightweight but provide plenty of charge to the camera while also powering the VP Hypertap II. The bebop safety lock for the v-mount is also rock solid, so the batteries can't be bumped loose. I'm also powering a Bartech via dtap on the battery, and so far so good. This battery adapter really brings the SR3 up to speed with contemporary camera accessories.

I am so happy they finally made this adapter for my SR2. Feels great and it has been very reliable so far. Makes the camera much easier to use. Only note is that I wish they made the plate a bit higher cause most gold mount batteries partially block access to the cable ports at the back of the SR2, I suggest getting shorter or more squared battery to avoid this issue. Other than that it’s a great product.
